We pride ourselves on sending out the best custom confection for your event or occasion. Every confection is hand made with the utmost attention to detail.
All custom orders should be placed as far in advance as possible. We book 1-2 months in advance, but we can always check availability. To place your order and confirm your date we require a non-refundable 50% deposit and a signed contract. Its best to get inquiries in early in order to ensure your spot.
Notification of cancellation must be made 7 days or more prior to your pick-up or delivery date. The 50% deposit is not refunded. Postponing a cake must be done at least 5 days before the event date (the deposit will still be held). An order canceled or postponed less than 5 days before your event will not be refunded deposit or balance.
When ordering a 50% deposit is due once a contract is signed. Deposits are non-refundable. All sales are final. In the event that you are not happy with your order a credit may be given (depending on the situation).
Upon picking up cake customer assumes full responsibility for the order, customer is responsible to inspect cake order prior to accepting.
Making That Cake cannot be held liable for damages to cake caused after pick up.
We service queens, NYC, brooklyn and Long Island. Delivery fee depends on the full address, day and distance. Upon delivery if the delivery person has to wait more then 15 minutes a service fee will be charged and you will need to pick your cake up at our woodside, ny location.
